Dear John:
Over the past several years, we have seen tremendous growth with Fosta-Tek, and all of us at General Electric greatly appreciate the lens expertise and reliable and quality work your company is able to provide for your customers. It is energizing to work with a company so specialized in the optical market.
As you know from participating in one of our Global Research Center events, GE Plastics wants to continue to supply Fosta-Tek with the best and newest materials we have to offer, to help you penetrate markets or work on applications that typically we haven’t been able to in the past. Along with your help and ideas, GE’s Global Research Center will have the best products and services, powered by the best technology to provide solutions our market spaces are looking for. In the GE of the 21st century, we will drive technical excellence in all our businesses and clearly distinguish ourselves in the marketplace. With the Global Research Center at the heart of this philosophy and spearheading GE innovation and growth, we look forward to working on new ideas that Fosta-Tek can bring to the optical marketplace. Thank you for being a part of what drives growth in GE Plastics and the industry as a whole.
The commercial and technical teams at GE are looking forward to working with Fosta-Tek on some of the specialized new and exciting programs in the Military and Medical Markets. We look forward to sampling new materials to take us into spaces we could have only hoped to play in before. As in the past, our Product Marketing Managers and Technical Development Engineers are available to assist in any area of business you may chose to focus on. This team is able to provide knowledge of end-users, processing, and material specifications. The greatest benefit that comes from working with GE Plastics is the ability to team up with end-users in the early stages of a product life cycle. The entire team of end-user, molder, and resin supplier is able to work together on design, material selection, and processing the materials until a top quality finished product is achieved.
Please take the time to discuss any opportunities with myself or other members of the area team that you may think of. These opportunities are not, however, limited to the Northeast, as we have commercial and technical teams set in place across the country, as well as around the world. I have included the names of our team from the immediate area. Do not hesitate to contact them directly if you have any needs or questions about any topic of plastics discussion.
Thanks again, and best of luck throughout the year.
Sincere Regards,
Wendy L. Collins
